While we were not able to get Nicole Priel her next move, we did have a lively conversation that touched on investing in multiple asset classes from private to public markets. We covered the significantly personal relationships that develop between VC and founders that need to be balanced when making tough decisions about follow on investments.

Nicole has great marketing instincts, and she expounds on her view that her main role when she sits on boards is helping companies reach strong commercialization with great technology. Her view that in the end “everyone is a salesperson” rings true to us and her confidence that Israel will produce a $100 billion company is just a matter of time is certainly encouraging. She is very bullish on B2C, so listen carefully.

Listen to the end of the podcast to hear who she views as her business icon. Her answer is esoteric, interesting, and surprising. No suit, no ties, no questions left unasked, Market Makers IL is a financial podcast where we will bring you conversations about shekels and stories about Success in the Israeli market.

In this conversation with Brachie Sprung we get into the details of story telling and empathy from the perspective of the VC, the companies, and individual investors. Brachie, head of IR and communications at Amiti VC, has spent many years in the VC world and in Israeli politics helping hone and relate stories to relevant constituents and stakeholders.

Brachie has great advice for younger employees to be comfortable in their seats, and to know that are in the room for a reason.

We found her perspectives on bridging the gaps between Israelis and international investors and even the press quite informative and think her approach will be interesting to many.
Spoiler alert – her favorite snack food is Bamba. No suit, no ties, no questions left unasked, Market Makers IL is a financial podcast where we will bring you conversations about shekels and stories about Success in the Israeli market.
